Tannat

Tannat is a red grape variety originally from southwestern France, particularly the Madiran region, and is now also prominently grown in Uruguay. It produces robust, full-bodied wines with intense flavors of dark fruit, such as blackberry and plum, and is known for its high tannin content, deep color, and aging potential, often developing complex notes of spice, leather, and earth with time.
